Beyond cowboys and vampires
There are more gay movies than just that certain cowboy picture and horror flick coming to big screens near you this season.

By now, gay movie fans know the story: An unlikely pair of lovers meet in a remote locale, form a unique “friendship,” then watch their romance crumble when they return to civilization.
Gay Tinsel Town buffs spent the summer trading gossip and searching for clues on two movies: “Hellbent,” which is beginning to make the rounds as the first gay slasher movie, and “Brokeback Mountain,” gay director Ang Lee’s forthcoming drama about two cowboys in love.

great rundown of films. i had no idea there were that many.
(i'm slightly skeptical of his research though, since he says we'll have to wait till Dec to find out the answers to his questions about the content of Brokeback, when it just played Venice, Toronto and Telluride. apparently HE will have to wait . . . hehehe.)
