Salt Lake City mayor signs order for domestic partner benefits
Salt Lake City mayor Rocky Anderson on Wednesday signed an executive order granting domestic partner benefits to city workers, a decision which may be challenged in court or by the Legislature.
The city estimates up to 30 of the city's 2,600 employees will sign up for the option.
