Number 10!
After a crazy day of college football yesterday, I am anxiously waiting for the polls to come out to see how far the Tigers have risen. So I stumble over to BoiFromTroy to see his latest take on that crazy finish to the USC-Notre Dame game and instead I find his rankings. He has deemed the Tigers worthy of his top ten. Thanks Boi!
Here is his top ten with his comments:
1. Southern Cal - Despite dropped passes and great game planning by Charlie Weiss, Matt Leinart and company pulled one out of their hat against the odds…that’s what champions do.
2. Virginia Tech: DNP.
3. Texas - Faces only test of season next week against Red Raiders.
4. Georgia - The World’s Largest Cocktail Party looms large as last stumbling block to SEC Title Game
5. Alabama - I still love Brodie Croyle, but that game was not so lovable. Coach Shula went to the run on second-and-short and third-and-short too often. He should have trusted his Heisman-candidate quarterback.
6. Notre Dame - Beat Tennessee and the Irish appear headed to a BCS game.
7. UCLA - Bruins showed heart in second come-from-behind win.
8. Texas Tech - Red Raiders head to Austin to play for Big XII Championship, BCS shot
9. Oregon - Could tie UCLA for Holiday Bowl bid…or maybe BCS at large against Notre Dame?
10. Auburn - Aberration against Georgia Tech sent Tigers off the radar, but they can prove themselves against…

With a 5-1 record, I believe Auburn deserves some respect. Keep winning and you'll be at least #9 next week.
