WTF!
Thanks to BoiFromTroy for pointing me to the College Football Victory Chain Linker. Okay this was very interesting. So I plugged in Auburn to find a chain to a 2005 opponent and this is what I came back with:
"Auburn beat South Carolina who beat Troy who beat North Texas who beat Middle Tennessee St who beat Vanderbilt who beat Wake Forest who beat Clemson who beat North Carolina St who beat Georgia Tech".
So how come we got beat by Georgia Tech. It boggles the mind.
