PlanetOut, Inc. acquires publisher of Advocate, Out
PlanetOut, Inc., which operates a number of the most popular gay Web sites including Gay.com, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired LPI Media, Inc., which publishes the Advocate and Out magazines, among other interests.
