Playing Gay!
It seems these days, the sure fire way to Oscar gold is by playing HOMO. It worked for Tom Hanks, Hillary Swank and Charlize Theron. Here is a great article from yesterday's New York Times about this very thing.
Maybe Heath and Jake will both get best acting nods. I am sure that Phillip Seymour Hoffman's portrayal of Truman Capote will get one.

In the 80's and 90's an actuor had to play someone with a major physical disability to snag an Oscar. Or they had to be near death. I'm glad we've moved on from that!
