It opened in only 5 theatres nationwide and took in a whopping $545,000 dollars for a per average of $109,000 which is a new record for a live-action movie."Director Ang Lee's cowboy love story rambled into three locations in New York City, one in Los Angeles and one in San Francisco and rustled up the highest per theater average on record for a live action movie.
