Absolutely Must See TV--

Okay, tonight was the most competitive night of TV watching in history. The TIVO's must have been working overtime.

There's the American Idol Results on FOX. (We watched live with about 35 million of our fellow countrymen). Only one surprise among Sis, Bro-In-Law and Myself in picking the bottom two guys and gals. All of our faves were fabulantastic. Sis and I both have a crush on Ace and the Bro has a crush on the gray haired dude from Birmingham, my previous home town. I will explain later.

Changing the channel--

On ABC we have the final three of Dancing with the Stars. We switched over after Idol to catch the last performances of the final three contestants. Stacy the WWE wrestler, Jerry Rice from the NFL, and Nick Lachey's younger bro Drew did not disappoint. Sis and BroInLaw and myself all stood up and applauded at the final Cowboy Dance with Drew to one of my favorite theme songs, "Save a horse, ride a cowboy". There was even a Brokeback Mtn reference from one of the judges, and Drew took off his cowboy hat and put it on his butt. Like that cowboy hat would stop it? We laughed our asses off. And they danced fabulantastic! We rewound and watched their dance a second time. (Because we could!)

Changing the channel, again--

On NBC you have the most watched event of the Winter Games. The finals of the Ladies Figure Skating. Yay, Sasha Cohen for winning the Silver Medal after falling on her ass twice. I love the new scoring system! We watched the final six skaters, which were the only ones to count and watched Sasha take the silver and the Japanese taking their first medal of these games and it was pure gold. (BroInLaw works for Suzuki and his bosses will be in a good mood tomorrow.)

Changing the channel, again--

On CBS they had Surviror Panama. Is anybody watching this show?

Changing the channel, again--

On The WB we have another episode of Beauty and The Geek. Yeah, we watch that too. But we TIVO'ed that one. We have a season pass.

I have to shout out to the dudes who invented TIVO. What would we do without it? Especially tonight?

How sad that we watch this much TV?
