Good News for Georgia--
Ralph Reed, the poster boy for Republican corruption (tied to the Abramoff lobbying scandal) went down in defeat in the Repug primary for Lt. Governor tonight in the primaries.Thank my lucky stars that I will not have to put up with his crap being our Lt. Governor.
And it looks like Cynthia McKinney will face a runoff for the 4th Congressional District Democratic primary. On a side note, Cindy Sheehan was at McKinney's political rally tonight speaking highly about her outspokenness, even in controversy.
Wow, Georgia politics is shaping up to be a precursor to the '06 November elections.
